MedQ's trading terms as they appear on every MedQ quotation and invoice, plus the terms on which this website is made available.

Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by MedQ Medical Supplies (Pty) Ltd, company registration 2020/479064/07, VAT number 4090292683, of 25 West Road, Houghton, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
MedQ trading terms
The following terms appear on every MedQ quotation and invoice and apply to goods MedQ supplies:
- Quotation validity. Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
- Ownership. All goods remain the property of MedQ Medical Supplies (Pty) Ltd until paid for in full.
- Transport. Unless a delivery charge is shown on the quotation or invoice, transport costs are not included.
- VAT. Prices are quoted excluding VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged at the prevailing rate and shown as a separate line on the quotation and invoice.
- Returns. Set out in full on the returns page.
Payment
- EFT / bank transfer — no surcharge. Banking details are supplied on the quotation and invoice, and never on this website. If you receive banking details for MedQ by any other route, telephone MedQ on +27 10 101 0052 to verify them before paying.
- Cash — a 3% deposit fee applies.
- Card — amounts above R2,000 incur a 3% card fee.
Prices and product information on this website
Prices shown here exclude VAT unless a page states otherwise, and are indicative until MedQ confirms them in a written quotation. Availability, lead times and delivery costs are confirmed on quotation. Product images on this site are catalogue illustrations, not photographs of the goods supplied. Where a specification matters to your decision, ask MedQ to confirm it in writing before ordering.
Orders and quotations
Adding items to My Order does not place an order and does not reserve stock. It builds a list that you send to MedQ from your own email client or WhatsApp. A contract of sale arises only when MedQ accepts an order in writing.
What MedQ does not supply
MedQ supplies medical devices, consumables and equipment. MedQ does not supply scheduled medicines. Some products, including chemicals and agricultural remedies, may be subject to restrictions on who may purchase or handle them, and MedQ may ask you to confirm intended use.
Acceptable use of this website
You may browse this site and copy or print pages for your own procurement purposes. You may not scrape the catalogue for resale, republish substantial parts of the site, or use it in a way that damages or overloads it.
Liability
MedQ takes care to keep this site accurate but does not warrant that it is free of error or continuously available. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law; where the law gives you a right these terms do not provide, the law applies.
