Where we deliver
MedQ delivers nationwide within South Africa. Collections from Johannesburg are available by arrangement.
How delivery is priced
Unless a delivery charge is shown on your quotation or invoice, transport costs are not included. Delivery is quoted per order rather than charged at a flat rate. The cost depends on the delivery address, the weight and volume of the goods, whether the items are bulky or hazardous, and whether the delivery is to one address or several. Delivery cost appears as a line on your quotation before you commit to the order.
Lead times
MedQ does not publish lead times on this website, because they depend on the product, the quantity and the delivery address. The lead time for each line is confirmed in writing on the quotation. If a date is critical — a tender deadline, a facility opening, a stock-out — say so with your requirement and MedQ will tell you before you order whether it can be met.
What to give us
- A physical delivery address, not a post box.
- A contact name and telephone number for the receiving site.
- Receiving hours, and any access restriction — booking systems, loading bay, lift dimensions, security clearance.
- For bulky goods, whether there is equipment on site to offload.
On arrival
Check the delivery against the delivery note before signing. Note any shortage or visible damage on the delivery note at the time of delivery and tell MedQ as soon as possible, so the claim can be made against the carrier while it is still open.
Multi-site and scheduled delivery
MedQ can quote a delivery schedule across several sites or across several dates for institutional and standing orders. Send the schedule with your product list.
