Returns

MedQ's returns terms as they appear on every quotation and invoice, and how to raise a shortage, a damaged delivery or an incorrect item.

Last updated 23 August 2026.

MedQ returns terms

These terms appear on every MedQ quotation and invoice:

Because a large part of the MedQ catalogue is PPE, consumables and medical devices, the third term above covers most of what MedQ sells. Check the specification, size, pack quantity and compatibility before you place the order — and if you are not certain, ask. MedQ would rather answer the question than process a return that the terms do not allow.

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable South African law; where the law gives you a right these terms do not provide, the law applies.

Shortages, transit damage and incorrect items

These are handled separately from returns, and quickly — but only if you raise them immediately.

If MedQ supplied the wrong item, MedQ will correct it. If an item arrives defective, tell MedQ straight away rather than using it.

Warranty

Equipment warranty is provided by the manufacturer, and its length and terms differ by product. The warranty applying to a specific line is confirmed in writing on the quotation. Ask for it with your quotation request if warranty is part of your decision.
